Joanna
Entwistle
BSc(Hons) PhD
Jo Entwistle joined Bridgehead Consulting in
2000, having completed her PhD in molecular chaperones and their
role in protein secretion in Aspergillus niger at the University
of Nottingham. Jo was part of the Nottingham postgraduate/postdoctoral
team that reached the final of the postgraduate Biotechnology YES
competition in 1997, giving her an insight into the pharmaceutical
and biotechnology business. She graduated with a BSc in Medical
Microbiology from the University of Leeds and has also worked in
diagnostics and microbial quality control.
Since joining Bridgehead Consulting as a consultant, Jo has worked
on and managed a variety of projects in diverse areas including
orthopaedic surgical instruments and materials, dental materials,
diagnostics, drug delivery and insulin delivery, oncology and work
in the genomics and proteomics areas.
Projects completed on behalf of clients have included merger or
acquisition assessments, due diligence analysis, Experts’
reports, technology assessments and pricing and reimbursement studies.
Longer-term projects include the trade sale of a company and finding
a licensing partner for a pre-clinical therapeutic vaccine.
