Lisa
Claxton
BSc (Hons)
Lisa Claxton joined Bridgehead in 1996 as an Information
Scientist with responsibility for the growing information collection
and has been trained in commercial database searching. She moved
into consultancy following experience in market research and has
been involved in a substantial number of technical and commercial
projects during her time with Bridgehead.
She is a graduate in Biochemistry and Biotechnology and worked
initially in the analytical laboratories of British Sugar plc.
Focus group recruitment and management is an area where Lisa has
worked extensively over the last few years. Face to face and telephone
focus groups have been carried out with patients and clinicians
in numerous clinical areas including xerostomia (dry mouth), rheumatoid
and osteoarthritis, wound care, and warts.
Lisa has also worked on a number of biomaterial projects, being
involved in due diligence projects looking at novel dental materials
and novel bone substitute materials.
